Christene Ann Reierson was born and raised in North Dakota. She attended college at NDSU in Fargo, ND graduating in 2002 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. After graduating from NDSU, she attended UND School of Law, graduating in 2007. During Christene’s second year in law school, she interned with the Cass County State’s Attorney’s Office. During her third year of law school, she was a law clerk for the presiding judge of the 7th Judicial District in the State of Minnesota. Additionally, Christene participated in the law review in law school, having an article published in the University of North Dakota Law Review and was also chosen as the Research Editor of the law review board. Christene graduated from the UND School of Law with distinction.
After law school, Christene was selected for a two year clerkship with the eight judges for the East Central Judicial District in Cass County, North Dakota. After completing the clerkship, she was hired as an Assistant State’s Attorney for Ward County, North Dakota. She spent six years representing the State of North Dakota prosecuting criminal matters in Ward County. During this time, Christene obtained significant court room experience and tried numerous trials to the court and to juries. Christene also argued several cases before the North Dakota Supreme Court.
In 2015, Christene started Reierson Law Office. She is currently practicing in the civil area of the law which includes representing clients in a variety of civil areas. The areas include family law, probate, wills and trusts, and real estate transactions, among other areas. Christene has extensive criminal law experience.
